The Pool Collective

We Didn't Set Out to Do This

The Pool Collective started as a detour.

In 2021, three partners founded Wake Aquatic Partners at a swim club in Rolesville, NC — with one goal: bring a better guest experience and stronger safety training to swim clubs across North Carolina. Commercial pool management was the whole plan.

Then homeowners started asking if we'd take care of their backyard pools too. At first, we said no — commercial was our focus.

We said yes to a few. And it changed how we saw the business.

Residential pools are smaller and simpler than commercial facilities, but the frustrations were bigger than we expected: neglected water chemistry, inconsistent communication, technicians nobody could reach. Homeowners didn't want the cheapest option — they wanted a company they could trust to show up.

So residential care got its own team, its own systems, and its own name.

Built on the Same Standards. Built for a Different Customer.

The Pool Collective runs on the professionalism that made Wake Aquatic Partners successful — now focused entirely on giving homeowners a better pool service experience.

Licensed, Insured, and Trained to a Higher Standard

We're licensed and fully insured with comprehensive coverage. Every technician goes through heavy hands-on training plus Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification — and some of our team don't just hold that certification, they teach it. We staff CPO instructors, which means the standard we train our own people to is the same one the industry uses to certify everyone else.

Ownership Isn't Just a Word Here

Technicians aren't rewarded for finishing a route. They're rewarded for doing the job right — through performance incentives and real ownership opportunities.
